MOON RIVER MARINE owner is rude, vulgar & dangerous

The Moon River Marine ‘water taxi’ swamped my boat 3 times on Labour Day weekend 2011. When I went in to ask the owner to have his drivers slow down in the channel we were camping (in Massasauga PROVINCIAL PARK),I was told “no, it’s a channel, we don’t have to slow down”. When I asked that he have consideration and respect for boaters, I was told to “get the f*** out of my store”, “we don’t need shmucks like you around here”, “get off my property and don’t come back”, and a whole lot more.

The problem is that their boats cause a massive wake that can do lots of damage. See a pic of the boat here: Moon River Marine water taxi

One day someone is going to get knocked out of their boat or canoe and hit their head on the rocks, or drown, or get pinned between their boat and the rocks and be crushed… not to mention that many people bring their children on camping trips and they swim in the channel with the boat flying by 50 ft from shore.

If you ever visit their business (please don’t) please ask them to drive slowly and with care through the various channels in the park.

The View tv show. Elizabeth should stay home. While she was gone the program was easy to listen to, educational, enjoyable, entertaining but now there are three of four people talking over each other again which is super annoying to the point where I switch channels. You can’t hear clearly what is being said. Whoopi please come back. I’ve missed you these days as you kept everything in order and you exemplify true intelligence and a sense of humour. Elizabeth’s (aka Survivor Elizabeth) views are all lopsided and she appears to be on the show just to stir stupid shit or am I being naive.

If “This is It”, “It” sucked.

Just watched the Michael Jackson doc at Scotia Theatre in Toronto. This was supposed to be some great movie about the self proclaimed King of Pop. Fact is… It’s grainy footage of sub par rehersals, and it all caters to Ortega’s less than impartial view of who Jackson was. Sure, the guy was a performer. Sure the guy had talent. So do lots of people. Frankly, though… This film chewed the largest left testicle ever! Who cares?!

He’s dead. He’s gone. Good riddance. One more low life, scum of the earth is now in a better place. (Probably a really warm place. One filled with sulpher and flame…) Anyway… Does the film show that Jackson was in good shape… Kind of. He looked okay for a 50 year old weirdo with Peter pan syndrome. yes, he could still dance. Yes, he could still sing. But the movie itself… A collasal waste of my fucking time and money.

If it wasn’t for my three Bloody Mary’s with breakfast, it would have been entirely unbearable. (It’s not even worth renting the dvd. Save your money.)

Banks Are Verifiably Evil

Yes banks suck. But more importantly, they intend it to be that way… they suck everything – you. your money. your home. your small business. your municipal, state/provincial, federal government. It all started (at least on this continent anyway) in 1913 when Woodrow Wilson decided that banks needed ultimate control of the North American and eventually the world money supply and enacted the Federal Reserve Act. It gave complete control over the ability to create money out of thin air and then charge crazy fees for it to PRIVATELY HELD international banks. Talk about evil built right into the system! Now that the world financial system has gone over a cliff everyone wants to talk economics and fault and systemic failure and green shoots of recovery, but the core problem is not going away – banks still run the show. If they were able, in Sept of 2008, to extort $700 billion dollars from the American govt, then there really is no stopping them. Blatant as it was, the system has done little to change the basic shell game of international finance, stock markets, debt and usary.

Here`s the Coles Notes of money:

Banks do not care a whit about you and your problems, regardless of their latest ad campaign to the contrary.
Government will always keep increasing your (taxpayer) debt.
Stock Markets are the biggest and best ponzi scheme ever devised.
Financial booms and busts are manufactured by international bankers to create either profit or instability or both.
We as individuals get screwed every time – in good times, we pay more for everything – think housing bubble. In bad times we get fired and lose our house – think housing bubble.

WAKE UP WORLD! International bankers run the show – not governments, not corporations, certainly not us regular folks with our vote… Oprah and Dr. Phil ain`t got no solution for this one. Liquidate your assets, head for the hills, start planting food and stop using digital money – it ain`t real.

I’ve been traveling this highway every work day for the past 19 years from Newmarket to 401 (man, that’s sad!) and every year it just gets worse and worse, no matter how many lanes there are. Even now with the HOV lane, it’s still BRUTAL! Each year, I look so forward to when school is out so I get at least a couple of months of decent travel without having burning quads from clutching the whole way down. Not to mention whiplash from the constant ramming on of the brakes when some dude is off to the side of the road changing his tire and every idiot decides they want to watch. Then I dread September when even MORE students are on the road and have no clue how to drive.

Solution? How about increasing the number and frequency of GO Trains from Newmarket from just TWO per day? How about increasing the number of routes the GO Train takes from Newmarket, from only ONE that goes to Union Station to possibly extending the Richmond Hill Line to Newmarket? That way some of us could have a choice to leave the car at home since this line pretty much runs along side the 404 anyway! Because seriously, if I drove to the Richmond Hill Line, then took the train to my stop at Oriole (which I’d only need to walk a couple blocks to the office), it would take me just as long since the traffic on the way to the Richmond Hill line SUCKS TOO!

If developers/government insist on building on every last scrap of farm land up here, and expect everyone to have a job somewhere, they’d better get off their asses and start increasing the infrastructure. Wake up and get with it. Why is it that so many other cities around the world have far superior public transit and we’re still stuck in the dark ages?

I visited Zips for the 1st time on Saturday 3/14/09. I don’t know why it happened but about 1/2 way through the tunnel my car stopped moving and I felt the left side raise & drop as the mechanical “Feet” on the conveyor rolled out from under my car. Then the truck behind me struck me several times with the driver honking her horn because she could not stop her truck from moving. I had to put my car in drive and drive out of the tunnel. I went in to tell the operator what had happened. My car is 8 years old and I did not care about the small nick in the bumper, all I wanted to do is make the people in-charge of the facility aware that there was a problem so it does not happen to someone else. I went to the person at the front desk & told him what happened. After a few minutes he came out and told me that the wash has ZERO responsibility for any damage caused at their facility and pointed his finger in my face telling me that either I backed up or the truck drove forward and their equipment never malfunctions. I told him to stop pointing his finger in my face and he said, “MAKE ME MOTHER F**KER”. The situation escalated and he kept trying to get me to hit him. I have too much to lose to start beating the crap out of a little 20 year old idiot like this. I asked him for his name and he said, “F**K YOU”… I told him I wanted his bosses name & he said, “NO” several times. I went into the front office to try to get the number off the wall, he got there first and took the number down off the wall and put it in a drawer. Turns out this little A-hole is the MANAGER! No one should ever go to this place! It is 10 bucks of wasted money to put up with this kind of BS. A place that would employ a person like this should be SHUT-DOWN!
